Maria Veliz is a Graphic Designer and Fine Artist in NYC and Long Island. Having graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and Fine Arts from Pace University, she decided to expand her interest in human nature and language through graphic design. Thus, she attended Parsons School of Design to earn an A.A.S in Graphic Design. Through the guidance of knowledgeable mentors, she expanded her design skills in the areas of concept, layout, color theory, materials, and typography.
Her way of approaching any design problem is that a clear narrative needs to be established before beginning any project. Being able to create a clear visual language and establish a meaningful concept in her work is what drives her passion for design and the arts.
