Roald Dahl Book Set
Overview
In this redesigned set, by the influential author Roald Dahl, l created a book cover series that share a harmonious design to one another and bring attention to influential symbols of each story. Roald Dahl's work are highly remembered for his characters interacting with food-related objects, whether that would have been for the better or worst.
When I created the series, I still wanted to pay homage to the original book cover illustrations created by Quentin Blake. Therefore, I created watercolored images and used a script typeface to capture the essence and playfulness in Quentin Blakes's work.
Overall, this book series shows a cohesive and charming mood to the beloved works of Roald Dahl that not only played a major part in my childhood but can continue to inspire the imaginations for children to come.
